Common questions
Everything you might want to know before reaching out — and if something isn't covered here, just ask.
The easiest way is to book a 20-minute introductory call. It's a relaxed, no-pressure conversation where you can ask questions and we can see whether we're a good fit. From there, we can arrange a first session.
We talk about what brings you to counselling and what you would like to be different. There's no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with — we move at your pace, and you can ask me anything about how I work.
Yes. Sessions are available in person in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong, or online by video. Many clients mix the two depending on their schedule.
I work with adults and teens. For organisations, I offer employee counselling, wellbeing workshops and consultation — see the Corporate section on the homepage.
Sessions are 50 minutes. Some people come for a short period around a specific difficulty; others prefer longer-term work. We'll discuss what feels right for you, and review it together as we go.
Yes. What you share stays between us, within the professional and legal limits of confidentiality — I'll explain these clearly in our first session so you know exactly where you stand.
Individual sessions are HK$1,500 for 50 minutes. Corporate and workshop fees depend on the format — get in touch and I'll put together a proposal for your organisation.
Life happens, and I try to be flexible. Sessions cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice carry no charge. Sessions cancelled with less notice, or missed without notice, are charged in full, as that time was held for you.
Payment details are shared when we confirm your first session. For corporate work, invoicing is arranged directly with your organisation.
Some clients claim sessions through their employer's wellbeing benefits or insurance. I'm happy to provide receipts and any documentation your provider needs — it's worth checking your policy first.
The easiest next step is a 20-minute introductory call — a relaxed, no-pressure conversation to see whether we're a good fit.
